have a very personal and symbolic meaning for me. I used to rent a room in
Vienna, and it was the very first place where I was on my own. When I sat my
desk and looked out my window, I had a view of a huge chestnut tree. This tree
became very close to my heart. Whenever I felt lonely or bored I would climb
out the window and watch it blossom, the breeze gently moving its leaves and
tiny bees collecting its pollen. With the arrival of autumn I started
to travel back to my hometown, Budapest, more often. And so I combined the leaves of that beloved tree with the a bird that was acting much like me, traveling as the seasons changed.
