Hi I’m Tímea Zsófia Terenyei, artist, illustrator and educator. I was born in Budapest and study Education in Arts at the Academy of fine Arts Vienna.

I view my craft and expertise as a mean that allows me to convey notions that are important to me, and to cooperate in projects that I think are helpful to society as a whole.

Currently I’m an illustrator and project manager at Patkós Stúdió, where we make conservationist exhibitions and educational trails from concept to design. For one of my projects here in 2021 I’ve been awarded as the winner of the Site specific – Student category of The World Illustration Awards by The AOI.

Artistic and Professional Practice |

Educational Design |

Since 2021 I participate in projects at Patkós Stúdió. Our clients are National Parks from Hungary and other Central European countries. My tasks at the studio include creating the overall concept of the educational trail or the conservationist exhibition suited to its store of learning and characteristic of the landscape or space, designing the pedagogical concept and mechanics of the educational equipment (such as interactive boards, boardgames and  furniture). I also take part in project management, copywriting, and of course in graphic design and illustration.

Illustration in Various Fields |

My practice includes working as a freelance illustrator and I’m also familiar with combining it with graphic design.

I’m happy to be comissioned for:
– editorial illustration
– illustration & design of educational materials
– brand and advertising illustration
– illustration of fiction literature for adults
– non fiction
– pattern design and more
